Each One Reach One
How did Giving Circles begin? Giving Circles started with groups of friends getting together to give back to their communities. The Membership Committee has decided that this year we would like to go back to that. We want you to invite your friends to join us. Who better than you to tell your friends why you are a member of this amazing organization? In 2011 we are having a membership drive entitled Each One Reach One. The idea is that we could double our membership and our giving if each member would bring in one new member. We will be having 2 wonderful social events for members who sponsor new members. The first event will be held in May and the second in October. If you sponsor a new member, you will be invited to the event with your new member. We promise that these will be events that you will not want to miss.
We will be providing membership packets to each member. The packet will include a membership application, a copy of our new e-newsletter, and information for both you and your prospective member on who we are. You will be responsible for delivering the information to your friend and returning it to the Women’s Giving Circle. Make it personal! The membership committee will be tracking new members and sponsors monthly via the new monthly newsletter.
We have just begun to define who we are and are excited about where we are going. Please help us to continue to grow. We have started the fire and need help to keep it burning strong. When the flames continue to get fanned, amazing things can happen. We believe that you can do this!!!
