Once again the giving circle makes headlines! We do make an impact on women's lives and in order to insure our funds go exactly where they are needed it is imperative to have the data to back it up.

Ta Da!!! Here they are...... your 2012-2013 Leadership Team. For once, they stopped working long enough for a quick photo op. Then it was back to work making the Women's Giving Circle of Cumberland County one of the best!

January Member Event

Don't miss it! Mini Yoga Retreat, Sunday January 13th from 1:30-3:30 at the Azales Center on Purdue Dr. Lisa Lofthouse will lead an introduction to yoga. Learn to relax, release tension, find untapped sources of energy and also have a great time with fellow members and their guests. So grab a friend and a yoga mat and we will see you on Sunday!

The Fence is Up!

In 2011 the Giving Circle granted Cumberland Interfaith Hospitality Network $15,000 to help build a security fence around their transitional housing area at Ashton Woods.  It took awhile to secure matching funds and the best fence company for the job but they did it. By the end of this month the fence will be complete and residents will feel more secure in their homes because of the generosity of our members in supporting this grant.  Here are some pics of the fence taken just last week. It is sturdy, strong and rather stately too!
